About the Role

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and adaptable Live-in Care Coordinator to manage our live-in care operations. In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of our live-in carers, from initial onboarding and compliance to ongoing rota management and client matching. You will serve as the central point of contact for live-in carers and clients, ensuring seamless service delivery, high compliance standards, and excellent care continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rota Management & Scheduling: Build, maintain, and optimise live-in care rotas, ensuring full coverage, appropriate rest periods, and client-carer compatibility.
  • Onboarding & Induction: Support new live-in carers following their training and onboarding, maintaining communication whilst awaiting a placement.
  • Training Coordination: Assign, track, and enforce completion of mandatory e-learning modules and practical training prior to placement.
  • Carer Profiles: Create, update, and tailor professional carer profiles to present to clients and their families for placement matching.
  • Client & Carer Support: Act as the primary operational contact for live-in carers, resolving schedule conflicts, handling placement handovers, and managing urgent changes.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate records on the care management system, ensuring all care staff remain fully compliant with regulatory standards.

Requirements & Skills

Previous experience in care coordination, scheduling, or healthcare administration (live-in care experience preferred).

Organisation - Exceptional time-management skills with a proven ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.

Communication - Strong written and verbal communication skills for building relationships with carers, clients, and families.

Tech Literacy - Proficient with care scheduling software, LMS platforms, and MS Office.

Problem Solving - High adaptability and calm decision-making when handling last-minute rota changes or emergencies.
